We have all the service documentation, updates and modifications so that your device often returns after a repair in a better condition than ever before. We also have specific tools to replace or reprogram components, which means that expensive parts such as printed circuit boards are usually unnecessary.

Complete stock of parts available

The most common parts are available from stock or delivered within a few days, which means that the repair time can remain short.
If a part is no longer available, we often have suitable replacements or are able to repair the parts.

Pickup Service

We work closely with a number of shippers and can have the defective device picked up at the address on the day of your choice or you can easily bring it to a drop-off point.
Of course, you can also bring your device to us in Leimuiden to hand it over to us personally.

Quotation

If the device falls outside the warranty period, you will receive a quotation after assessment by our technicians if the costs exceed the previously agreed limit. You can then decide whether you want to have the repair done. The quotation is free if you have the device repaired by us or if you leave it unrepaired. If you want the device to be returned unrepaired, we will charge you part of the costs incurred, namely € 40, - excl. 21% VAT and shipping costs.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I submit my faulty audio equipment?

Submitting your repair is easy through our RMA portal. Register your device and select the option for pickup and delivery service. We will then arrange for UPS to collect your equipment from your location and bring it to our service center for further examination, accurate diagnosis, and a price quote. This way, you know exactly what to expect. If you decide to proceed with the repair after the examination, the examination fee of 35 euros will be waived.

 

What to include with the product?

  1. The defective product (with power supply, remote control, etc., if related to the complaint)
  2. A clear description of the issue
  3. For warranty repairs: proof of purchase

If you prefer, you can also bring the product to our service center yourself.

Can I also have an older device repaired?

Yes, our technicians are highly experienced in both digital and analog equipment. In addition to an extensive parts inventory of original components, we also have a large stock of disassembled devices, which often allows us to repair older equipment as well.

Is on-site repair possible?

Hanex provides on-site repair services for non-transportable equipment or fixed installations in the Netherlands. We also offer this service in other countries upon consultation. Please be aware that additional call-out charges may apply. If on-site repair is not feasible, we will transport (part of) the equipment to our workshop for repair.

What is the warranty on the repair?

 Hanex offers a standard 3-month warranty on the repaired issues. If the existing problem recurs or a new problem arises after this period, we will of course resolve it properly.

What if the repair turns out not to be worth it?

If you decide not to have the device repaired after examination, the investigation costs of €35 will be waived if you leave the device with us. If you want the device returned, we will charge the investigation costs and any shipping costs.

In most cases, repair turns out to be certainly interesting because our repairers repair at the component level. So we only replace that one defective part, not the entire mechanism or circuit board. And if repair turns out not to be worthwhile, we will work with you to find a solution.
